The SORTEX is an ATEX-compliant optical sorter suitable for multiple color detection, size grading, and foreign material removal in dry products. It sorts grains, pulses, seeds, coffee, nuts, and plastics in throughputs of up to 40 t/h
Optical sorting line presently used for walnut kernel sorting, but suitable also for other fruits/nuts or even recycling of glass or plastic; the line consists of:
1. Feeder funnel with opening 1000x1000x500mm,
2. Lifting conveyor with cells of 300x80mm, height 3500mm
3. First sorting device, for eliminating the raw parts as shell rests or similar, total dimensions LxlxH=2000x750x3000mm,
4. Lifting conveyor with cells of 300x80mm, height 4500mm
5. Bühler Sortex A Colorvision optical sorting machine on a metallic platform of LxlxH=4200x3700x1500mm
6. Discharging conveyors: one for final products of LxlxH=250x3500x1200mm and 2 for recirculating products of LxlxH=200x3500x1200mm with 2 lifting conveyors with cells ofLxl=300x80mm at H=4500mm and one for rests LxlxH=200x3400x1400mm
7. Local exhaust fan with sack
